Are you ready to step away from stress, phobias, anxiety, intimidation and fear? Welcome to the world of being confident because of Christ. I pray these Scripture verses would nourish your soul.
Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
1-We can be confident because we approach the throne of grace!
Read Matthew 9:20-22. Notice how the woman with the issue of blood showed a level of confidence in just being able to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. Awesome, life-giving power flows from Jesus and from His throne to meet every need. Approach the throne of grace today.
1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
2-We can be confident when we ask for things in accordance with God’s will.
3-We can be confident because God hears us.
John 14:12 says, “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
4-We can be confident because Jesus promised we would do greater things.
John 14:13 says, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.”
5-We can be confident because we have the privilege of using Jesus’ Name.
Romans 8:15 says, “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”
6-We can be confident because we have the Spirit of sonship.
Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
7-We can be confident because God already gave us His best…Jesus!
Challenge for this week:
What other Scripture passages can you find that help build up your confidence? Keep them in your journal and try to memorize at least one of them.
