I Still Believe In The Name of Jesus

I still believe in the precious, holy, awesome, excellent, matchless Name of Jesus!  His Name is higher than any other.  There are so many names out there that cause a flurry of emotional responses.  Words like COVID, cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, terrorism, crime, gun violence, anxiety disorders, death, car accidents, sex trafficking, gang violence,  crimes on the subways, school shootings, drug overdose and the list goes on and on…

Where is the hope?  Who has the cure?  JESUS!  His Name is the only Name I know to call upon for any need.  I don’t know what you are going through today, but Jesus understands, knows and cares deeply for you.  Call on His precious Name.   Let’s call on His Name together…

Dearest Lord Jesus,

     We thank You that we can rely on Your Holy Name.  So many things are overwhelming us today.  Please speak, “Peace” to all of our storms.  Your Name is more powerful than anything we are facing.  We lay our heavy burdens at Your feet.  Thank You that You are more than able to take care of every heavy load.  Nothing is too hard for You.  You can heal sick bodies.  You can turn around bad reports.  You can stop this pandemic at any moment.  You can save lost souls.  You can bring prodigals home.  You can set this economy straight and deliver it from inflation.  You can provide for every person’s needs.  We know that YOU CAN.  We pray that You will.  There is no other God but You, Lord God Almighty.  Please have mercy upon us.  You are our only hope.  Our confidence and trust is in You.   We know that those who place their trust in You will not be disappointed.  Thank You in advance for what You are doing and are about to do.  We praise You for countless blessings that have already come our way.  Help us to constantly remember You through the day and to meditate on Your promises.  Thank You that You are always with us.  We praise You for amazing miracles that will come forth to glorify Your Name.  We give You all the praise.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
