When you go through sickness, sorrow, stress or whatever situation you find yourself in, it’s more than just going through one day at a time.  It’s more like…

one step at a time

one breath at a time

one meal at a time

one conversation at a time

one decision at a time

one medication at a time

one turn at a time

one appointment at a time

one page at a time

one bite at a time

one thought at a time

one prayer at a time

Take it slow.  No need to rush.  Our times are in God’s Hands.  I am reminded that inevitably my Father is the Potter and all I am is clay.  He can do whatever He wants.  He is in control.  No need to fight against it.  But rejoice that God is somehow still in control.  He always knows what to do “one day at a time” and every moment in between.  Let’s rest in Him.
